Welcome to Pets Ad Litem (PAL). PAL is an alliance of advocates and professionals providing a legaI voice for animals!
Presented by The Florida State University College of Law Chapter of the Animal Legal Defense Fund (ALDF) and the Florida Bar Animal Law Section,
and Pets Ad Litem, Inc.
Hunger nor homelessness isn't seasonal, which is why our year-round pet food program gets so much attention. Our volunteers devote valuable time providing food to the animal shelter. See first-hand the animals we help daily. Find out how you can contribute to the future of an animal in need through donations of money and time.
Pets Ad Litem, Inc. is an alliance of advocates and professionals providing a legal voice for animals. PAL's goals include enhancing public awareness of responsible pet ownership, offering legal assistance to state and local governments on animal law issues, providing legal representation for the interests of animals in legal proceedings, and protecting the rights and promoting the best interest of animals.
PAL partnered with the ASC in co-sponsoring a lecture on “Animal Behavior” at the Tallahassee Red Cross in February. The lecturer, Dr. Terry Curtis from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine (see photo), talked about the behavior of cats and dogs and their communication with humans.
